They're stamped with 207. Wormwood posted this pic in another thread and mine was the same:



With a 207 opening temp, it won't be fully open until ~225, which gives you a pretty small window from the point the cooling system begins operating at full capacity and the engine getting too hot.

FWIW, I don't think the 194 temp in the ECM actually does anything important. All the fan temps, etc, are separate so if that number is actually doing something meaningful I can't find it.

good to know.....is that from a 2014 or 2015 or it's now established they are the same temp rating?

That was his 2014 which looks identical to my 2014 L86.

it makes sense given the running temps of mine when it had the stock thermostat.....210-220. interested to see if a 2015 is the same to confirm certain posts stating 2015 running temps of 190-195....

the jet stat looks just like the lingenfelter in fact the part# is the same

t-stat from my 2015 says 90C which is 194 degrees

My 2015 base car has a 90c marking which is 194 degrees
