Default 34.2

Ran a 100 mile freeway leg in 7th gear with eco selected. Loss of 1500 feet in elevation over the leg. The car returned 34.2 mpg. Pretty impressive IMO. I didn't like the sounds and feel of the cylinder deactivation though. FYI @75 mph

34 here also. My deactivation is smooth. I feel nothing.

I got 32.9 MPG in 6th, on cruise control, with NO ECO mode driving interstate in Texas.
Pulled the hills in 6th with no downshifting...

Yeah, 6th or 7th without eco is better on the engine and drive train.

There is no sound difference that I can detect in AFM mode but mine is an A6 and that may well be the reason. Don

That's a good MPG number from the car.

I got 41.6 mpg for a "best 50" on my recent trip to Arizona. This stretch was likely coming down the Continental Divide in New Mexico. I had the AC on and cruise control set for 80 mph. It amazes me that I can pass cars on the highway in 4 cylinder mode, get better gas mileage than many of them, and look better doing it.

2015 SG Base Coupe, A8

The average for the whole 5600 mile trip was 27.3. Not bad at all.
