Default Exhaust "Clank" from V4 to V8 mode

I have a "Check Engine Light" and notice a distinct "clank" when the car goes from v4 to V8 mode. Anyone have this problem? Is it a bad exhaust valve or a bad exhaust valve motor??

If you leave it in V8 mode, does it seem ok? If so, drive to an Autozone and have them look up the trouble code. That will help find the issue.

Where do you think the clank is coming from ?? Under the hood or towards the rear of the car in the exhaust system ?
Having the codes read will help narrow down the issue
When I 1st got my C7 the rear V4 exhaust butterflies were sticking and made a weird noise but not a clank--- it finally went away after awhile---

Sounds like it is in the rear of the car.

search for AFM failure. Have you been on track? The actuator probably failed.
