Default Anybody running 10lbs + of boost on stock pistons??

Im considering doin 10lbs of boost with headers and meth...Should i be fine??? I see alot of guys only doing 7psi ..i see the pistons are the weak link but are they that weak?? What typehpwould 10psi put down ??

Have lots of C7's pushing 12-14 w/ zero issues. It's in the tune sir, the piston weak thing is hogwash. People lifting ring lands is from to much timing flat out, if you make to much power you bend rod's not break pistons.

I agree with Joe, Pistons have always been the weak link in most GM motors. Doesn't mean you can't make crazy power out of the mill

Good info guys because guys are making them seem like they are weaker than ls pistons thats why i was worried..

Good to know. I've been discussing on here the possibility of dropping my pulley down in my A&A kit from 3.8 (8PSI) to either a 3.6 or even a 3.47. The 3.6 should yield about 10PSI and the 3.47 should be around 11psi..

Joe tuned mine with the 3.47". Still recommend you give it a try. No point tuning it for the 3.6 and having to redo it again with the 3.47 when you want that extra boost

Hey joe@cpr do u think the direct port meth is a must ,or the single and dual nozzle system just fine as far *** distribution of the meth to each cylinder ??

Always done single or dual depending on setup. If someone wants a direct port meth than imo they should realize they should just do e85 or race gas. Stop dancing around a real solution is how I feel.
