Question to you supercharged Stingray owners.

I had over 200k miles on my Avalon and it was in pretty bad shape because I drive a lot for work. They wouldn't even let me test drive the car that I later ended up buying that day because even though I'm 31, I look 21. They changed their mind when I had cash in $100 bills to buy the car though.

because you go from a lame car, to a not only a corvette, but a heavily modded one.
my whole life i have been somewhat driving "cool" cars. its not like one day i woke up and said i want a badass car. Its always been in my blood. only way i am driving a car like the volt is when the government makes me.

I have also been driving sports cars my whole life. My garage currently hosts: 2015 Mercedes C63S AMG, 2015 Mercedes E63S AMG, 2004(?) Dodge Viper GTS, and my 2015 Corvette Stingray. I've owned numerous various sports cars and exotic cars in my life, everything from Ferrari to Porsche to... you name it. I still think the Volt is a fantastic car that was worth the price paid.
The Stingray is not heavily modified yet. I had to buy a new roof for it after losing the first one in the first week, and then I've put Z51 sway bars on it, and bought an Escort radar detector for it, and that's about it so far. I'm reading this thread because I'm thinking about upgrading the cam, headers and intake OR forced induction. Leaning toward cam/headers/intake over forced induction currently. I just don't see the use for 600+bhp in a 3400lb car on the street. Had that in my Porsche 993TT and it was downright scary to drive at times (on rainy days, don't even think about it).

That's too bad, the Volt is a fantastic car. I plan to buy another one, used rather than new, to keep in my garage for my daily driver, lumber runs, grocery trips, stuff like that.

Exactly! And you don't have to drive the Z06 with its, shall we say, somewhat garish appearance IMHO...

The worst part was not being able to drive my Vette until the replacement roof was delivered (got it from cultrag and they were awesome).
