On the way to the service, even after 30 Minutes there was no temperature reading vivible on the gauge, so not even the minimum on the gauge was reached, so for sure I will install a thermostat.

I have the bigger cooler and the duct already, but not the thermostat.
You said that you could help me with the thermostat and the oil lines?
My idea was to have the thermotat right at the cooler, so that I would connect the original oil lines to the thermostat and would only have to add very short connections to the new cooler.
But if anybody has a better idea, that is alwasy more than welcome.

By the way, I made a mistake when I calculated ° Fahrenheit from ° Celsius.
The gearboxtemperatur was 240° F when it was 30° F outside.
Today I drove on the Autobahn constantly 140 mph for about 45 minutes.
It was 60° F outside and the gearbox reached 275° F, just at the border of the red area and then I slowed down a bit.

That is disappointing, I can drive 150 mph for hours with our 14 years old Mercedes SLK without overheating at all and this is even an automatic gearbox.

Just as an info, durign the ride with the Corvette, the engine oil was constantly at 200° F, that is not bad I think. The cooling water was just under the middle of the scale, not bad either.
It seems that the only cooling issue I have is with the manual gear box.
The bigger cooler and maybe Z06 ducts I hope will solve the problem.

Wow, yeah, sounds like you definitely need a transmission cooler. I wonder if maybe the exhaust is heating the transmission, as it's in pretty close proximity to the mufflers.

Your engine oil and coolant temps sound just fine.
