Dropped off our 2015 z51 3LT off for:

ECS- supercharger
Alky control single nozzle
ARH- Headers
FSP- Catch can
Edge- CTS2 behind the radio for Info
were leaving the corsa exhaust.

They just ran a stock dyno and came up with 388, I got the video but its phone quality recording.

Ill update with pictures as they come in.

Will say the shop was what dreams are made of.

Here is inside the shop.

They have a separate dyno room, engine build room. Full machine shop with CNC machines.

Headers came in

Car is now under the knife

Interior taken apart

Engine bay coming apart

Only snag we hit was the front o2 sensors were froze in the exhaust, or cross threaded. So we ordered 2 more.

Ecs dropped the ball and said the supercharger would be delivered Monday so it can be installed and the tuner can do it on Tuesday. Now we have to go to another Plan or see if he will acomadate us

Awesome! Curious that the CTS2 looks like back there behind the NAV. I want to add a gauge or two back there as well.

That shop looks incredible.

I doubt ECS dropped the ball. There are a ton of moving parts that come into play when building/shipping and installing a kit like this. Things can go wrong and I personally would never set such a hard deadline on something like this. Doug and Chris are very busy guys.. and for good reason. They make a top notch product and it is worth waiting for. Enjoy the new power!

Sales guy said it happens all the time with ecs they will say 6-7 days and it turns in to 15 days. I hate spending this kind of money on a luxury item and Chris not willing to take the time to verify shipping speed. He kept telling Mike 3-4 days usually he said will it be here Monday. I'm in a hotel in Beaumont Texas right now while my wife and family are at home to make sure my customers deadline of tomorrow is met. In the oil and gas industry service and timeliness are the only thing keeping me and my employees employed right now.

I have been to ECS many times, you would not believe how busy these guys are. I am sure there is a legitimate reason for a delay. Hang in there, the kit is awesome.

I understand what your saying but it's not fair for calvo to have to work all night Tuesday and then try and get it tuned so everyone can be home for thanksgiving. I have gone from 77 employees to 5 I have to keep our customers happy. I don't have time to be going to Austin later to get my car. Everyone knew this was a time sensitive build, everyone was given notice the build was scheduled around ecs, alky, headers, and catch can are done. Car is going to get screen put in tomorrow and then it's going to be sitting and waiting

Sorry about your issue Steve.

I agree that setting such a tight deadline when multiple parts/vendors are involved is never a good idea. Sh*t happens dude. Need to leave a buffer with any ordered parts.

I've been dealing with ECS since 2008 and they do a ton of work on my cars. They are very busy but have always been great to deal with.

I learned the hard way years ago to not book installs and dyno time without parts in hand!! Ecs makes a hell of a kit!! It will be worth the wait!!!

That is a smart move, I'm just hearing the wife bitching about how this wouldn't turn in to a last min scramble to get the car if I had just left it alone.

Yes but where's the fun in that? Lol... Trust me when I say things could be way worse! Enjoy the build brother and can't wait to see the results!

Hey Steven, I wanted to personally apologize for the added day on shipping. We tried to get the kit out last Tuesday but it left here Wednesday. If you need to stay an extra day in town I would be happy to cover an extra night in the hotel for you and your wife. If you need anything please send me an email as I don't get on the forums much at all.

Chris,

I'm not worried about money by any means it's just trying to get the tuner to tune the car before thanksgiving. This build was scheduled around the supercharger being there Monday. That way if there was any issues calvo had time to work threw them. I have to say thank you to the guys at calvo for bending over backwards for me. I can't speak highly enough about them.

Here are today's pictures. Mike added molex plugs at the dash to make any future work easier. Just unplug and go. Everything is being ran in flex shield.

That's pretty close to normal. Around 400 SAE with a M7.

It's a loaded dyno, don't know the make of it. But all I'm worried about is the difference in before and after.

What does that system give you? Boost? A/F? What did that piece of the build cost you if you don't mind sharing? PM me.

Here is the screen
http://edgeproducts.com/products/insight-cts2-84130/
It plugs in to your obd2 port and you can add any additional sensors to it

Mike said he wasn't happy with saw cutting the piece of carbon fiber. So he is brining in a small CNC piece. It has the alky control flush mounted and the USB port relocated.
