Find out which head unit it has (S-Trim or T-Trim), look for the pulley size (will be printed on the side of the pulley) and see if it has any methanol nozzles going in to the charge pipe right before the throttle body. We can typically make a good guess based off that stuff. Other stuff would be better to know but his wife may not have the details such as any internals, who tuned it, etc.

Really be suprised if the PO didn't keep the invoice when the work was done. Ask her if there is a folder somewhere that might have the paperwork.

Vortech would lead towards A & A, that is their standard head unit...

Let us know what you find after you see it in person. I had a A6 with a Centri and they had a really hard time tuning the auto. Would always bang the rev limiter and just wouldn't shift right. Hopefully you get a chance to get it on the road for a WOT and see how the auto performs...

Get a picture of it and make sure it's one of our systems. It might ne one of those weird Pfadt systems. There were a few of them before they went out of business.
Also get the serial # off the head unit. I can tell a lot by that.

Hard to tell but I don't see a meth nozzle from here. Would need to see more pics of the charge pipe to know for sure.

I don't even see headers. OP, stock centri kit like this is good for about 550 whp with the right tune. Should be a fun car, A&A builds a great kit.

You buying or passing? If you buy it, your next bit of research will be new rear tires

You're right. I zoomed in and that's definitely the stock manifolds on there. So it's just the supercharger.

Well, you can look at this way.. One less thing to buy. If you're interested in headers and meth, that can always be purchased. You can take it to a reputable shop to have the headers, meth and tune done. Viola.. 650 rwhp!
