Thinking of ordering Z06 and swapping my C7 motor
In search of traction I am debating doing a Z06 wide body kit. With that I would need wider rear wheels. That would be around $18k for both installed. (With Forgeline wheels)
So what I'm thinking about is buying a Z06 (with Z07 package) depending on discounts, maybe around 100k.
Since i have basically a new worked motor, which after next week will be most like 1200rwhp, I was thinking of either 2 things.
Swap motors and install the Z06 motor in the C7 and sell it, or buy a used C7 long block and install it in the C7 and sell the new LT4 motor.
There are other things that I have wanted, (carbon rotors) which would cost me about $11k if I wanted to buy the brake kit, so that's another $11k towards the Z06.
I talked to Matt at FSP and he thinks it should not be a big problem.
