Removing the front sway bar allows the front of your car to LIFT evenly without restriction
On an old school muscle car YES this will help you plant the rear tires harder--However on a Corvette that is basically a track car --I see NO advantage to eliminating the front sway bar or dis connecting it----These cars are so well balanced that I have seen no advantage in a 1/4 mile drag race----
It's more about seat time and how much experience you have with feathering the throttle with the TC OFF on the launch-Takes practice and seat time to hit it just right--whether it's a manual or an automatic----
These cars have so much HP and bottom end TQ that you can spend lots of $$$ to get more traction with your tires----but even after that mod there is a learning curve----
Leaving with the TC ON and using the launch control function still will never achiieve the results of someone driving with the TC OFF and sticky tires that hasthe seat time under his belt to know how to drive thru the spinning at max efficiency
