Base model 18", 19" wheels on a Z51??
Will the 2016 base model 18" and 19" wheel combo fit on a Z51? Just concerned about possible brake caliper clearance issues in front. My Z51 is a 2014 with 19" and 20" wheels, and I'm looking for a wheel and tire setup to take to the track. Found a set of brand new take offs locally for a pretty good price, and thought it was worth a shot for my first time taking the car to a track.

Melting Slicks
What tires do you plan to run on base wheels? Anything sticky, or street tires.
The base wheels fit, you might have issues on stock brakes (with counterbalance weights) and wheel weights. That's only thing that will be an issue.

Burning Brakes
I run base 18/19 combo with m&s tires for winter on my Z51. I had to move the wheel weights on the front wheels, more towards the inside of where they were mounted. I run base tire sizes.

they will fit and clear the brakes, but the counterweights will be an issue with the wheel weights. they will have to be relocated. its minor, I have a set in my garage, I run them with aftermarket brake pads and no issues whatsoever.
JUST DONT PUT SLICKS on them!

Why no slicks?
