Default Help Turning Off Traction Control

Question from a Newb.

I mean after changing driving mode system to Track pressing the center console button nothing happens it's like the button is stuck/useless...

Any fixes? I haven't seen any topic nor thread about this bummer issue.

Default

Press the button twice, with about a second of time between pushes.

Which model do you have? PTM/MagRide or standard?

If no mag ride. Press twice to put in competition mode or press and hold for abt 5 seconds to turn it all off or press once to turn off traction control but keep stability control on.

If Magride than you need to select between one of 5 modes, so you better read the more detailed threads on it.

Curious- are planning to track it? For street driving I would leave it on. The rear end will swap ends but quick if you don't pay attention with it off.

Well I have to check it out sometime, whether on a track and street, it's definitely quicker... You can check The last 10 minutes of the latest Top Gear "America's Biggest Car's" episode, Tanner Foust thrashes the C7 around a 6 block course through Detroit streets at night. Racing against himself with traction management system "on" vs "off" in a C7, enjoy

The real issue here is that I did not tried it out and the button is now stuck probably some coffee spill bust the button, will go tomorrow to fix it at Chevy.

Lots of information in this older post from Tadge. Very good explanation of the various PTM modes and related items.
