Default Need help with wiring, please

I need help deciphering the function of each wire leading into the rear lights. The color coding is not familiar. Anyone have a legend or index?

I'm trying to hook up a wiring harness for a small tire trailer (more on that soon). The harness is the customary four wire unit (rear lights, rt. turn sig, left turn sig, ground.).

I removed the entire rear facia to get to the wires and now can't figure out what's what. Trial and error just gave confusing results. Any help would be much appreciated.

Figured it out with circuit tester:

Brake lights: Grey w/ yellow stripe
Left turn sig.: Light blue w/ white stripe
Right turn sig.: Light blue w/ purple stripe
Running lights: Purple w/ grey stripe

Are these accessible without removing the rear fascia? From under the car or in the trunk area?

You probably should use LED lamps on the trailer, as regular incandescent bulbs, hooked in parallel to the factory LED tail lamps, will draw too much current from the BCM, maybe causing an overload condition.
