Default Track Wheels 18x10.5 all 4 on C7 Z51

Hello,

I was doing some research and it seems a few of you are running 18's on all four corners. I have a 2014 C7 Z51 19/20 that i'm seeking a good track rim so I can run r compound tires on track days. Will these wheels work?

Thinking about running 315/30/18 on 18x10.5 on all for corners. Just curious if the rims above will fit.

CCW told me that in an 18" wheel, 10.5" was the absolute widest rim I could fit up front on my Z51. I think 10.5" would really be pushing it.

Thanks for your reply, yes I agree it will be pushing it, I purchased a rim to test fit, now just trying to see if I can get away with 315/30/18's on all 4 corners or will I have to run 295/30/18 on the fronts.

Not sure on that one, I went with 295's in front. Hope it works out for you.

On the site, it directly states these won't fit Brembo brakes. Be interesting to see how the test fit went for the brakes alone!

18x10.5 ET56 would fit. I do have 18x10.5 ET52 CCW front wheels (which are 4mm closer to fender), and I do have a slight rub by the fender. That 4mm extra clearance would fix that. We do know that C5 Z06 18x10.5 wheels with ET58 also (barely) clear the inside, so it's safe on the inside, too.

What's the widest people are running in the rear? I'm really tempted to get some steam rollers front and rear.

edit: and the widest up front on a 19" wheel? This is mostly for street use, occasional track duty. I've actually come to realize wider tires are slightly cheaper, cost per mile, because they wear slower.

Thanks for your reply, I did the text fir, the 18x10.5 ET56 clears the brakes with no issue, the car was in the air and it cleared when straight, Turning to the left full tun gets very close to control arms, turning all the way to the right in hits control arm, but maybe when car is on the ground it would be fine. I can see where my stock wheels are rubbing, my vette has lowering bolts cranked down. I think i'm going to have to fun 295/30/18's all the way around for now. There would be no issue with a 315/30/18 rear, but I am not sure on front with the lowering bolts.

What is the offset on the rear wheels?

Offset on stock rear wheels is 79. Gotta believe 56's will stick out quire a bit, but then again I haven't tried it myself. How did it look to you? Any photos?

to answer OP's question if those wheels would work... they may or may not fit I dunno. I personally wouldn't trust a 150 dollar wheel on the track for more than one weekend.
