Default Interest in C7 Grand Sport- can you add aero aftermarket?

Hi forum members,

Im looking into buying a new track toy and the grandsport has my attention. Since it would be solely track I want to get the basic lz1 package and will likely forego the z07 package due to the cost of the carbon brakes. However i would love to run the high downforce aero- preferentially even the step 3 aero only offered on the z06 does anyone know if this aero can be purchased aftermarket?

in addition what is the difference in suspension setup on a regular grandsport vs z07 package.

thanks alot,
jay

the factory Aero is an option , I have it or can be put on after as well... As far as the Z07 package, I did not want or need the Carbon brakes. Not sure if there is any change in the Mag ride programming.

Yes, you can definitely add aftermarket aero.

My Z06 has the stage 1 aero. The upgrade is simple. Front splitter and side skirts from forum vendor Weapon X, the stage 2 spoiler extensions and wickerbill from Cultrag.

Z07 comes with different springs, shocks, magna ride tuning, sway bar bushings, ABS and Stability control tuning, as well as different PTM tune, all optimized for r compound tires. If I were you, I'd buy 1lt z07, or just get 1lt z51 and upgrade suspension/wheels/tires.

After driving a 3LT Z51 C6 for 9 years, I deliberately bought a 1LT base C7 with NPP and have zero regrets. It's the same motor as the other models except Z06. For a daily driver, it is the best combo for me and I didn't spend money on options I don't need. And, I actually prefer the look without a spoiler and the less harsh and less expensive 18-19 tires.

I bought the complete stage 3 aero kit from ACS, good vendor to deal with and a good product. Exact replica of Gm.

Z07 comes with different shocks, different shock tune, stiffer sway bar bushings, and much higher spring rates. I bet the suspension tune takes lighter brakes and tires, and higher brake bite into account, too.
