Max PSI Boost at 91/94 Octane
Hi guys, I planning to put the all-new Whipple supercharger on my LT1 C7 and I'm confused about the max boost that I can use with my build. I want a 91/94 Octane build. Whipple claims 590RWHP@18DEG at 10 psi with 94 octane on stock Camaro SS LS3.
K&N air intake,
Lingenfelter GT35 camshaft,
Lingenfelter CNC ported heads 11.5:1 (no compression change),
Manley forged pistons 10.5:1,
Hooker Blackheart full-exhaust w/muffler,
Hooker Blackheart long-tube headers,
Whipple supercharger 2.9L,
Katech 103mm throttle body,
MSD fuel pump booster.

Lot of factors come into play, but you will drop a few psi with headers and better flowing heads. I don't see methanol or upgraded fueling so you are limited there.
Personally, it seems like an expensive build if you are only getting 600 whp out of it. You could do any of the centi kits with headers and be at the same spot for a lot less.
