Hack for C7 fender lip roll
Obviously, we cannot 'roll' fender lips when the fender is made of fiberglass. Thankfully, it's even easier than rolling if you can 'dare' to do it.
You need:
- Course sand paper (80-200 grit?)
- A t-shirt with long sleeves, and gloves
- A mask if you don't like breathing fiber
- Air compressor to blow the dust
- Preferred: Arctic White car : )
Start trimming from the inside lip with the sandpaper. Make sure you're wearing something with long sleeves and gloves, since the fiberglass dust can get into your skin pretty quickly. Trim from the inner side of the lip only, since if you do from the outer side, you might scratch the paint, visible from outside.
Here, how it looks with the lip half-way removed by the middle section.
Once done, the trim line is not visible. Don't forget to blow the dust off. I used low pressure air to contain it within a small area, which I then swept into the trash.
Finally, don't forget to wash your clothes (by themselves) and also your face and arms with cold water (some say hot is better).
Enjoy your increased clearance!

X25 I would give the sanded area a generous coat of touch up clearcoat just to keep it nice and sealed. Can't see it anyway.
