Default Switching to Z51 shocks

I have the wheels and tires and changed to Z51 bars. Any reactions to changing out the Z51 shocks?

You should get the springs, too, to match the shocks.

Try 'em, they are cheap. If they don't work well switch back.

There is not enough difference in the spring rates between Z51 and base to warrant a spring change. Ask me how I know.. lol

Just do the Z51 shocks if you want a stiffer ride or go full aftermarket.

What happened? I am on the fence between Z51 shocks vs Johnny Oconnel shocks. I will not change out my springs...

Nope. As I said a couple posts ago, there is such a negligible difference between the base and Z51 it isn't worth it to change them. Not sure what the OP decided to do..

Thanks , have changed them out. Will see how it handles in the spring after this ghastly winter is over.

I agree. My car will be on the street with a shock upgrade in late April
