Default NEW Katech C7 Oil Cooler Adapter And Oil Temperature Sensor Relocation Kit

This oil cooler adapter is part of the upcoming C7 Z06 oil cooler kit to be released. We are selling this part of it separately in case anybody needs it for another application. The adapter allows you to eliminate the factory oil cooler and plumb -10AN lines to the engine. For this application, we didn't include the fittings because our C7 Z06 oil cooler kit has port fittings integrated into the end of the lines due to space constraints.

We have also added a port on the adapter for an optional oil temp sensor relocation kit that we will be selling. The adapter comes with a plug installed. If you wish to use our oil temp sensor relocation kit you simply swap the plug and the oil temp sensor in the dry sump tank and run our plug and play harness. This allows us to measure the oil temperature going into the engine which is after the cooler and a more accurate measurement of the oil cooler's efficiency than the hot oil that is sitting in the tank.

This isn't thermostatic correct? If you have an external cooler it will be cooling all the time.

The oil isn't thermostatically controlled. It is thermostatically controlled by coolant temperature though.

So this will function much like the stock system but enable a remote cooler.
