Default C7 Caliper Powdercoating Service.

I've not been real active as a vendor on the forum, because I have no lack of work, but wanted to share a service that the new C7 people may not know about. I have been powdercoating for 9 years now and a vendor since 2005 on this forum. I've probably powdercoated well over 2500 total sets of brake calipers, and 1500 sets of C5/C6 calipers.

While I do not currently offer C7 calipers on exchange, I can powdercoat yours with a two day turnaround if we coordinate when they will arrive to me.

Price is 400 plus 30 return shipping.

Price includes disassembly, cleaning internal parts, stripping original finish, recoating, new logos, and reassembly afterwards.

email is best to reach me, mike@thepowdercoater.com

here is a pair in ZR1 blue:

I don't know. Still need to know how much they cost and how much demand there will be.

At least one

Hard to say what demand the C7 will have since the factory is now offering 2 optional colors.

Hopefully you have a exchange service or if not when it snows here a lot I might do it.

At the dealer the front calipers were in the $600/each range at list price.

So we'll have to wait for a few cars to stop running.

Like Ken said, they are too pricey at the moment to get a core set.

No cores, don't anticipate getting any at this time.

I do have a match for Laguna Blue now though.

I can personally vouch for Mike's great work. One of the 2500 sets he's done was a set of candy apple reds for my spiral grey C5 Coupe. The car looked absolutely BITCHIN'!

Thanks! THe logos are vinyl, underneath the clearcoat in most cases. Some colors bleed through vinyl, so they are on top of the clear

I did those for Vengeance Racing, so I don't have a pic of them installed. They might though.

Can you Powdercoat the Essex kit for AP that is annodized? My hesitation buying their kit is that their not red like the rears.

Mike has been doing all of our specialty powdercoating for quite some time now, and have nothing but good things to say about his work. Being local is only a perk. We would ship to California for his quality of work if we had to!

I started this business when I was a copilot at a major airline and that airline went bankrupt and cut my pay in half back in 2005. I've been a vendor here for almost 10 years now, but haven't been very active.

In the last few years, we have recovered most of our pay and I also recently upgraded to Captain, and now the flying is much more lucrative than the powdercoating.

I am still coating, and will keep coating. I am however, also, not going to be advertising anymore, as I welcome a reduction in business.

My sponsorship here will end on February 28th, where they will close my threads and delete my "corvette pilot" username.

You can always find me at my website www.thepowdercoater.com, email me mike@thepowdercoater.com or call me at 678-357-5844

thanks for all the support everyone here has shown me over the years!!!!!!!!

I was annoyed when I bought my 2014 Night Race Blue C7 Z51 because all they had was yellow and red calipers. Neither option, in my opinion, was attractive with NRB. I am planning on using your service when I return to my car this spring. I have book marked your web sight. Can't wait to see that wonderful ZR1 blue on my Corvette. It will enhance my HRE's.
