I've been considering ordering one, but one thing that sticks in my mind is "What is exactly that this mod does to the car to get rid of the 'problem' of skip shift?"

Just overrides the computer that locks out 2/3. 100% safe, I have on my 2014.

The video skips the most difficult part, which is the removal of the original wiring harness.

I have one on my C5, and I assume it works the same way. Love it but U will still get the light on the instrument panel but just ignore it U can shift without being locked out. Forgive me for jumping in on the C7 forum, I am close to pulling the trigger on a 2016 and am reading up on U guys forum issues.

Worth it. I was running into skip shift all the time due to how I drive and it drove me nuts. Now all is good again. Great product.

I have an extra C6 skip shift eliminator, will that work on the 7speed manual C7 Z06?

Is the resistance different or is it just the connector?

I have one of the new style like this and it only measures 25ohms instead of 2.2K ohms as some have reported.

I noticed some of the connectors have and extra partition that might keep them from going together.
