Are the extended sides hints of further additions (winglets/deflectors)?

Those will come out in about 4 weeks. You will be able to add them to the splitter if you'd like. We are working on those now. Most guys didn't want them and we left them off the initial design.

Need to know exactly how much this splitter lowers the front ground clearance. Hard to tell from these photos.

It does not lower it that much, It is still higher than a C6 ZR1 with a ZR1 splitter. We will post more pictures soon with measurements. Thanks, Don

Very nice.....I hope it won't make it too low and scrape. Does it bolt onto stock locations or does it require drilling?

Thank you, Ground clearance should be fine, you just have to be careful pulling into steep driveways like you normally would be careful driving any type of sports car. Since the car does not come with a front splitter from the factory there are no factory holes, you would have to drill the small holes for the attaching screws, the hole size is 3/32 of an inch. Thanks, Don

Hi Jb306y, Thank you for the order, At the moment I do not have any updates on the winglets. Currently it is taken 3-4 weeks to paint and ship from the time the order was placed. Thanks, Don

Thanks Don, I talked to you earlier this week on the phone. It's great to hear you guys are getting back up and running.

You can put me down for a set of winglets when you start producing them.

Thanks,
Jim

Thank you for asking, it lowers it by 1.5 inches. The reason for the warning because since it is a true front splitter at greater speeds it will be creating a down force on the vehicle. The front splitter is attached to the bumper and it is not attached to a support that goes to the frame like they had on the zr1 cars, so the more down force that is created it is going to start to pull down on the front fascia, that is why we advise for speeds less than 140 MPH. Thanks, Don

Hi Butch, I sent you an email giving you an idea of how you can test ground clearance on your car, check it out and let me know, if you install the front splitter on the c7 the curb alert sensor will need to be mounted in the grille instead of underneath the car. Thanks, Don
