I haven't heard of a way to connect power to the detector without the cord hanging across from the power source where the lighter/ashtray would be located. I don't want a cord hanging in front of my passengers face! Has anyone heard of a fix for this for the C7?

Get a straight cable and tuck in behind pillars, under dash, and to the port. You can't see any cords on my radars.

My take on radar detectors is I don't need or want all the GPS crap. People get too dependant on that. Cops know where these detectors are setup for false alert suppression and use that to their advantage.

After all these years, I still prefer the V1. I use Waze to find police that may not be using radar. This is much more effective in cities than any radar detector in my view.
