The all-new MSD Atomic AirForce intake manifold delivers improved airflow and distribution to improve the performance of stock and modified engines.
The unique bell-mouthed runner entrances maximize airflow and minimize shrouding - all while optimizing the available plenum volume for an unobstructed flow path over opposing runners. The polymer molded 2-piece design allows for easy access to the runners for porting.
Red Logo: The Atomic AirForce LT1 manifold accepts OEM Drive-By-Wire (DBW) and aftermarket Big-Bore DBW throttle bodies – as well as cable operated throttle bodies. Auxiliary fuel rails and port injectors may also be fitted for applications where the capacity of the stock Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) system has been exceeded. The intake is supplied with new OEM-style bolts, but the use of new OEM-style intake port seals is required.
Black/Silver Logo: Atomic AirForce accepts an OEM or 103mm throttle body as well as stock or aftermarket fuel rails. (Use of aftermarket rails may require the use of customer-supplied spacers and hardware.) The intake bolts on and is supplied with new gaskets and hardware for a direct bolt-on package.

Is this more for highly mode cars ? What would this do for a bolt on car ? Also I know with the ported throttle body sometimes there are issues. Do these intakes have similar issues ? Looks really cool.

I haven't seen a single issue with these. They added 20RWHP and 20RWTQ in the testing we did on the 6th Gen Camaro with the LT1. In the LS3 offering I didn't think these were a great mod but on the LT1 they seem to be worth every penny.
I was going to order one of these last year but I heard about numerous issues with them coming loose and not fitting properly. Have they remedied these yet?
I have a cam package and headers do they need tuning when added with these mods.

We ran our 16 Camaro at the USCA Thunderhill Event. We took 1st place in GT in the competitive events so we weren't babying the thing by any stretch. We have yet to see any issue what so ever with this manifold. When installed correctly, these function perfectly!
Tuning is not required with this part. I am sure there would be some added benefit to doing so, however.
