Dealers are giddy right now at the prospect of idiots coming in to overpay for the first ones. It happened with the last Z06 and it will happen with this one.

Funny.... Shelby gt500's (not even the 2013's) have dealer adjusted pricing on them. I remember being told of people paying here in miami 50k++ in mark ups for a zr1. Morons are plenty down here!

Indeed, I heard dealers are going to charge MSRP for one and then give the next one to the needy, rather like the Toms shoes people.

Oh.. there will be dealers that will try to ask for a markup, and some fool will pay it; but some of the better dealers (like the ones that you can find on this forum) are already taking deposits for Z06's at MSRP - minus any discounts you may qualify for (loyality, USAA etc.), and it won't be long before you can get a little bit of a discount off that (Which you likely good get already).
