Front fender liners...umm
Why not just flare the fenders another inch or two. Does anyone actually like the plastic liner sticking out there? I do not.
Overall- bad *** car-
fix-
1) front fender liners
2) rear end to c7R design.
3) steering wheel design is bleh

Just wish GM would stop using the crappy black plastic for this crap. CF would be excellent and acceptable to me. In absence of that, I would have rather seen the fender designed to eliminate the plastic. I am also saddened to see the corner winglets are in some sort of painted material that does not match the CF front splitter……GM is really dropping the ball on cars that cost above the threshold of "acceptable to drop the ball on."

I agree with those front liners and wouldn't buy the 'aero' package for that reason alone

Ever see what the CF looks like after a few sessions on a track. Crap, that is what it looks like. The debris flying back from soft tires on other cars chips the hell out of it. The plastic holds up very well in the same situation and there probably isn't much difference in weight.

You do understand those are Gurney Lips and they have an aerodynamic purpose right? If they extend the fender and painted it you be complaining about the paint and body damage after a track session.
Everything that works, does not always look beautiful and smooth. Sometimes you just have to go with functional and practical. Well, that is if what you are looking for is performance.

I am certain that if they could achieve the same downforce by just widening the fender that they would have done that and forgone the winglets.
Those are functional or they wouldnt be there. Everything on this car is designed to serve a purpose.

If you really despise them and don't care about the additional downforce, the stage 1 aero package won't have winglets at all.
