I think wheels can make or break a car and black rims just disappear into oblivion IMHO.

Black wheels typically look bad in photographs because they are often in the shade. You really need to light up the wheels with off an camera flash or some other lighting source. If you don't the photo ends up looking like the car is sitting on blocks after the wheels and tires got ripped off.

Same with black cars. You need to light it up or you'll lose all the lines.

Like them or not, chrome wheels seem to make their own light.

I sure do love my black C6 Z06, but it sure sucks to keep clean! The second you are done detailing it its dusty again I think a Z06 or ZR1 Corvette look right in black, but for my C7 Z06 I am going to have to choose another color. I am just too **** and black drives me absolutely bonkers keeping it clean!

I would have said an hour but ok.....

Some owners of black cars will admit it that it is a p.i.t.a. while they own it, but most or all will admit it once they sell or trade in their black cars.

Yes, black IS a PITA to keep clean. But that does not stop me from buying it again.

wouldn't bug me one bit - had my share of black cars and done, never again. I'm a detail and clean freak and just can't do it anymore. Go ahead and bug, I'm good with my decision and red was my 1st choice during my search, yellow was 2nd.

That black C7 Z06 looks great Don't know if I would get the black wheels though since I like some contrast.

I'm on my second black vette. It's never been much of a problem for me and my California duster. If the gray doesn't blow me away then it will be back to black.

Ergh! I think I just had a mini stroke.

Those car dusters are the devil and ruin a car's finish in no time. Of course that's the OCD part of me that loses my mind over swirl marks on paint. Next time you clean your car park it near a street lamp at night, not under it, but near it then look at your paint from a direction opposite the light source. I used one on a white car and noticed the micro scratches one night and swore off the things entirely.

Of course if you don't care about such things carry on sir!

Anyone that says a scheme of black on black "aka murder" wreaks of rice is a moron and has no clue where "murdered out" came from, nor do they know wtf "ricer" means.

People that say that are the ones with the chrome wheels, the "fuelie" fuel rail covers on their C5z and some lambo doors and trophies from their local volunteer fire dept car show for "best Corvette" sitting in front.

Sounds like the aero package will have a black paint option. I have a love hate with the CF on a black car. I think the painted black aero package will look better on a silver or black car. Exposed CF looks good on most other colors.

So you black on black guys Exposed or Painted Black CF?
