I just purchased a 2006 ZO6 with 30,000 miles on it. What should I expect as to motor and drive train issues in the next 30,000?

I think you'll want the moderators to move this to the C6Z06 section. This is the C7Z06 section.

Enjoy the car. The 2006 model is known to be the fastest of them all.

Best,
Gene

Well, you're definitely going to have to replace the engine, they typically go around 32,000 so be prepared for that.

Oh and brakes, they usually last about 5,000 miles, and your trans will definitely have to be replaced at leeeast twice during the next 30,000 miles.

Good luck!

????????! To the Op, is your Z for street or track? I'm 15K over your 30 and mine runs like a top. Keep it under 3K until your oil warms up. Under 5K until its' at operating temp. Although not tracked(do not have the luxury of time) trust me I do "Get on it"

If it hasn't been tracked or beaten on or neglected, you'll be fine.
Unless you decide to track it, beat it, or neglect it.
Congrats on your new ride.

Mine has 30K with no issues... yet. Don't plan on any but then we never do.
