Very well done! The Synergy Green machine caught my eye, very wild for a Corvette color compared to anything I remember in the past. The vert Z06 is much more striking top on (FRC style) or off than the coupe.
This is the Z06 car I have been waiting for since 2005 because even your grandmother will definitely know this time!

Being severely hard of hearing, I'm out of luck listening to Harlan's comments.

Would you do me a great favor and repeat what he said that about the Cup tires/Z07 for street use?

Without doubt you have made a great post. It makes it worth the while wading through some of the garbage a few folks post to get to a post like yours. THANKS!

This is odd. Notice that it the interior and exterior colors seems to all be for the 2014 Stingray! http://greedaid.com/NErun/O59A0097-88.jpg

Thanks! We spoke for several minutes on the cups so I can't do word for word. However in general he was saying how the cups are fine in the rain, other than a torrential downpour. He said he had a C6Z06 with cups that he daily drove for a year and never were the cups an issue. He went on to say that the SS tires are very high performance as well. People think that if the Cups are a 10 then the SS tires are a 6. But it's really the SS tires are an 8.5 or 9 and the cups are a 10. He also said that he preferred how the cups feel on the street, that it made the car feel sharper and with better turn-in. It's more than just the tire to turn better lap times. He also said that people wanted a better tire on the car but now it seems like the opinion is that the cups are too much and it seems a lot of people are afraid of them, but they shouldn't be. It's definitely a tire you can daily drive and drive in the rain with.

Best,
Gene

That makes me feel better about the Cup tires. Also glad to hear that the Z07 hardware will be the same with only some software tweaks to the mag ride. Previously I had heard that the hardware was also going to be tweaked.

Was the yellow Z06 on display the "new" yellow? And how do you think it compares to VY?

Thanks

Tom

Gene, thank you so very much for all your time and efforts. The shots of the rear quarter top vents were superb, and exactly what I wanted. You da man!
