Default Exterior / Interior color combo

I have a deposit on a 2015 ZO6 and plan on ordering it in Velocity Yellow, but I am uncertain as to which interior color would look best ? Any thoughts?

Anything but that with yellow. Some folks don't care for black, but a nice black leather interior to me comes across as premium, and it would work well with yellow. The Kalahari might work, IDK, I haven't seen pics of the yellow C7s with the tan interior.

Then there is the new dark blue interior - so dark it almost looks black, but with a hint of the blue hue. That might be a neat look.

That new color interior on the Laguna Blue Z convertible has been confirmed by Ryan Vaughan to be the new "unique to the Z06 dark gray." In certain lights, in pictures it can seem to be a dark blue, though all who have actual seen it in person come back saying it is definitely a gray (not a blue). It will be my choice for my VY Z.

I too have a deposit on what will be a VY (or whatever the new yellow might be). The interior will be black, and like my ZR, it will be outfitted in Caravaggio's finest. Personally, color isn't as important as the quality of materials and workmanship. But, I don't get rid of my cars, so investing in a new interior works for me.

My C6 was VY with black interior but if they made yellow seats or seat inserts that is what I would get. I know I could go custom but I want to go stock and I really like the red seats option. But VY with red seats would not look great IMO. People may think it's crazy but if the Z06 had a yellow seat option I would get VY and yellow calipers and interior! Love the yellow,

I can't comment on whether you are crazy or not however I also would go with yellow stitching on black. If the vette was red I would chose the red/black interior with yellow stitching...now who's crazy?..rrm

I'm with you. My wife just got a new car and it has black with double white stitching. I just don't think it stands out to the extent red or yellow would...rrm

Well there are more than a few of us crazy ones for sure! I think that sounds pretty good but then I like my cars a little over the top. Yellow stitching with black would be perfect with VY - but I would have to see the red/black with yellow interior with a red exterior. Hell it would be different so I probably would like it!

The only correct interior color with Yellow is black, imo. Kalahari is a beautiful brown (I have it in my C7) but it simply doesn't look good with Yellow. Red would, of course, be worse.

C7 4 Me I may disagree with your color choice or not but it does not make it "incorrect" it may be not your cup or tea but if the buyer chose it then by definition it is not incorrect lol

Please note that I said "imo" which is a widely understood acronym for "In My Opinion"

Well after seeing the Vert show car I think my choice has changed! I think I am going with Laguna Blue with Black interior with the Spectra-Gray wheels!

I realize this is a "left turn" (kinda) for this thread but, after looking at the Apsis ad/thread, for their CF interior parts, I noticed that the "Kalahari interior" apparently does not include Kalahari carpets. Is the charcoal (what it looks like in the pictures) carpeting used on all interiors? Meaning the only color change is approx 1/2 the door panels, seats, center console and with 3lt, the wrap over trailing edge of the dash? Carpets, headliners, the other half of the door panels and dash all the same "charcoal/satin black" regardless of interior color choice? Sorry for my ignorance.
