Production 'lead time'
When does development of the 2015 model year Z-06 have to end (and presumably official 'Ring times' published) in order to begin actual production in Aug (Aug 11, one OP said) 2014?

The 2015 will not be in full production mode until the first quarter 2015. Limited production is scheduled for late 2014.
The 2015 car is a 1/2 year car.
The 2016 will begin production in August 2015.

They've been telling us all along that customers will first start taking Z06 coupes home in the first quarter of 2015. A few months after that, the verts will begin to show up, hopefully just in time for spring.
I wouldn't look for Ring times very soon. A lot of things have to come together for GM to be able to run a lap that is both fast and verifiable. I'm pretty sure it will be faster than the old ZR1, and that's all I'll guess.
