WOW, what a cool ride. To me, I agree with others that the challenger is the best looking of the muscle car retro rides. Now with 707 HP, 650 TQ and a modern 8 spd beefed up auto and manual stick available, the horsepower junkies like a lot of us will be beating a path to the challengers door. Way cool.
With Today's official release of HP figures on the dodge hellcat at 707hp, its reasonable to believe GM will have to up that number with a C7 Zr1.
It's a great time to be a car guy. Just think, at the rate things are going, in 10 years the halo vette will have north of 1,500 hp and a KERS system custom-fitted to your junk to keep you "fully engaged."
just like days gone by...this hp war will soon have its end...the cafe standards are going to put an end to the gasoline hp wars in a few years..i myself hope i see the electric/fuel cell hp wars come to be...thats gonna be awesome...and while we are at it lets forget about mag suspension and go for mag levitation...woohoo
A lot of nervous/anxious suits at GM today after this news broke hahaha.
I was considering a stingray or the new z06 or even a zl1 but now I'm waiting to see what this cat is all about.
"Most powerful muscle car ever". Pretty awesome to be able to say that. Can't wait to test drive that thing.
If you pass up a C7 Z06 for this, you win retard of the century award.
The Z06 will still be quicker and faster in a straight line by a considerable amount. Let's not even discuss track, because the Z06 destroys basically anything let alone a 4300 lb pig built on an oversized sedan chassis.
