In the 6th shot down, what's the horizontal radiator in front of the inclined main radiator? Looks too small to be AC (which is usually the same size as the main rad). Engine oil cooler?

I would assume it to be the heat exchanger for the supercharger.

Great shots, man. Too bad we couldn't get together. I ended up spending most of my time in the hotel room. I had several work-related issues I had to take care of.

No, it's definitely not that. The heat exchangers for roots type superchargers are not external. In the case of the GM ones used in Corvettes they are air-liquid.

He is surely talking about the heat exchanger that dumps the heat to the outside!

I believe you are referring to the intercooler, not the heat exchanger. Hot coolant flows from the intercooler to the heat exchanger (#9), is cooled, then returns to the intercooler in a loop powered by the intercooler pump.
Here is a schematic of the ZR1's air charge cooling system:

intercooler cools the air, heat exchanger cools the intercooler fluid

It's a 2nd transmission cooler for the A8 tranny.

Finally! Someone that knows how to take pics of a car.

Tired of so many threads "pics of z06 at_____" and it has 2 or 3 mediocre photos.

It is interesting that there are 4 liquid lines on that heat exchanger. If two are used for the intercoolers I wonder what the other two are for?

Also curious whether the Z06 also has 4 liquid lines? Maybe the other two really are a second cooler for the auto transmission
