Default What will be your first Z06 Performance Mod?

What will be your first Z06 Performance Mod? With "only" 650 HP, where will the bang for the buck come from?

I see a Torch Red Z07 in my future

Im the same way. I have the stupid feeling of must have more power!! However I would have to assume the lt4 is going to be somewhat similar as the zr1 where as its pretty much at what it can do with simple bolts on's. The pulley and tune didn't do all that much on the zr1 and I would bet that would be the same case here. However Im that way and I plan to do a pulley and tune and gain whatever it will offer maybe the same 50-60 HP gains.. I refuse to go inside. The pulley is just too easy to get power... As for anything else.. the exhaust already sounds great. Maybe an x pipe just to make it a bit louder and lower it on stock bolts.. That's really it and that's the point of this car. You really need to do nothing, I just like to stand out from the rest a bit and lets assume with the above mods it makes over 700hp - that's f'ing nuts..

Whatever it takes to get down to 460rwhp. Hopeful that this motor is able to be de-tuned a great deal so I can run in my current class.

Ditch cylinder de-activation....On the stingray it's a nice touch on the Z06 it's just plain stupid who buys a 650hp car for frugality

Yeah who wants to save money on long trips?

Down with the system! Let's all put carburetors back on and remove the ECUs!

If GM offered a factory delete option I would take it.

No AFM plate and lifters
Higher cam lift
Stiffer engine mounts
No 7th gear
No dual mass flywheel
No skip shift

I'll take 50lbs weight savings, better power transfer, and 25hp extra anyday over 0.5 mpg improvement on the freeway.

The fuel savings features are idiotic on the Z06, let alone on the Z07 optioned cars.

I agree with the lowering part but with such a small blower thats already spinning at 20 K I am not sure the pully is going to work as good. However if it does I will be right there with ya on anything for more HP

We have the wheels and battery in stock; the prototype intake ready to mount the first day we get the car.

This intake is essentially what we sent to GM in Feb. this year, with a larger 690 cfm filter and larger airbox. It will be 100% carbon fiber, Nomex III.

I'm going to;
1) Lower it on stock bolts
2) Add tint
3) Lloyds Mats
4) Weapon X rockers
& maybe
5) Halltech intake

That's it, and then drive it like I stole it!

Default First performance mod

My first performance mod will be putting my *** in the driver's seat! Truthfully, I will change nothing since it will be tracked and I don't want any chance of possible warranty problems that GM might attribute to modifications.
