I've never owned a Corvette, or an american car for that matter, but this car really nailed it for me. Awesome design, technology, and power for a great price.

And in honor of your pic I'm going to see if it's not too late to switch to yellow calipers. I was on the fence between red and yellow. I had not seen the pic you linked before. Looks killer plus something different!
Just spoke to my dealer, the yellow calipers can be added tomorrow morning. Order will go in tomorrow night and should be at 3000 by the end of the week....

Stinger Stripe is the Carbon Flash painted sticker that is applied onto the hood directly behind the vents. some of the Z06's that you have seen have them, some dont.

I too just bought my first Corvette -- the Z06. White, base aero, 2LZ, kalahari with microfiber inserts (like my CTS-V), museum delivery, black wheels, microfiber steering wheel, navigation, red calipers, and body colored roof. From Paul Masse in East Providence, RI.
Questions for the experts:
1) I was told the performance data and video recorder come with the nav. Is that true?
2) Does anyone know what the IL2 (Trim) choice gets you? Does it include the dash or just the A-pillars and door panels?
3) Will my car come with black side mirrors or body color?

1. Yes, the PDR comes with the Nav
2. I'm not familiar with that option code, but I believe if you want to add upgraded interior trim the 3LZ package is required.
3. Your car will come with body colored mirrors unless you choose the Carbon Flash painted mirror option ($100)
