Predatr,

Not 3000 yet.. I'm at 2000. I might have jumped the gun with my thread but from what I'm being told from my dealer, I should go to 3000 as ordered.. here's the scoop... My dealer here in Dallas is in the top 15 in Corvette sales nationwide and have a good # of allocations. He told me today that I was the 1st car picked up with Z07... crazier thing is, I'm the only Z07 car in all of the allocations they have... He said my chances of this car going to full production as ordered is pretty good.

Not sure why there is so little interest in the Z07 package here in Dallas.. maybe other Texas dealers have more Z07 orders...

As I have the utmost respect for all of you guys on this forum due to your experience and knowledge of this process, please chime in with your thoughts.

If you are at 2000 your order has been fully accepted by GM and will be built as ordered. My car went to 2000 today and should be at 3000 within a day or 2. My expectation for orders in this consensus is that we will have our cars by mid December barring any extended quality hold/issues.

I hope you're right on our delivery. The thing that might hold it up is quality control but that shouldn't be nearly as extensive as it was for the 2014 Stingrays since so much is carried over.

I dont have any insider information... i expect a hold of a couple of weeks then barring any issues off they go to their new homes. This is of course dependent upon production starting up in a couple of weeks which if accurate should be confirmed early next week. (At least one can hope)

The thing that is looming largest (aside from QC) is the 2 week christmas shutdown where production stops and if i recall correctly no cars are shipped either.

The next few weeks will be fun.. filled with anticipation and production information concerning our cars.

I am in the same boat as you guys. I know the stated TPW of 11/24 is highly tentative, but I hope my car is not on the line as they are breaking away for turkey day.

Mine was picked up today as well. I was told that they are expecting a TPW of 11-10 or 11-16! I took delivery of my C7 on 9/23/2013 and it was built on 9/16/1023. I had the first C7 in NC according to my dealer. The reason was my car (vin 1098 ) was one of the first to be released nationwide as the first 1000 cars were held in Nashville for QC...

I think your dealer is overstating the case. My 2015 Stingray was built in August and sitting on the dealer lot in NC on 9/3 when I test drove it. That NC dealer had already delivered at least 25 2015 C7s by 9/23. Your dealer probably meant that it was his first 2015.

Regarding TPW it's all guesses at this point. Not all the cars picked up today will be built in the same week. We'll all know more when we get a few steps down the line. I'm just hoping for December, but the Stingray is a pretty nice interim vehicle, so you and I are lucky.

In 2013, I got one of the first 427 convertibles off the line. Even though it was just a mashup of GS, Z06, and ZR1 parts, it still had a 4 week QC hold. With a new engine and a tranny still going through R&D, I would expect the same this year.
