Default Museum delivery on 2015 Z06???

Ordered a 2015 Z06 {SG, 2lz, Kalahari, red calipers, nichel pearl wheels} and am trying to figure out a way to get the car down here to Asheville, NC. Considering doing a museum delivery in BG, Kentucky.

Can someone tell me what it involves and is it worth the $1000.00 they charge? Do they prep the car as the dealership would {maybe bettor?}, etc.

If you use the search function you will find an incredible amount of info about the museum delivery.

I will tell you that approx 99% of those who do the delivery love it and rave about it.

Many others will call it a rip off, but if you pay close attention you will see that those who call it a rip off have never done the museum delivery.

Finally, I will leave you with this very valuable piece of information that is shockingly little discussed here: If you order museum delivery a sign indicating the car is a museum delivery car is placed on the car at the factory for its entire production so that everyone who touches your car will know it will be delivered at the museum.

R8C is worth the money. This will be my 4th time. As far as how to get it to Asheville, drive it if there's no snow. Heck, drive it if there is snow, just carefully.

They actually prep it better than the dealer would. Here's the link to the museum delivery

I do an annual trip with my C5 from MN to NC and the WV 77 along with the Blue Ridge Parkway. You gotta drive it home Seriously!

Unless there is snow...
