Sorry I asked, actually not a newbie for your info. On my 4th corvette. Currently a 07 lingenfelder. Just got a lot going on and haven't had time to find the info. I won't bother you again.

Some of the attitudes in this forum are really disappointing. A member is just asking a question, one of the main reasons people come to a forum, and is greeted with attitude and derision.

If you can't be helpful, no need to insult someone, just don't hit the reply button.

Yes, the Z06 is going to be wider body, wider wheel base.

Here's a link to a TON of info direct from GM including specs, standard and optional equipment, etc.

http://media.gm.com/media/us/en/chev...-z06/2015.html

Here's the wheelbase specs from that website:

Wheelbase (in / mm):
106.7 / 2710
Overall length (in / mm):
176.9 / 4493
Overall width (in / mm):
77.1 / 1957
Overall height (in / mm):
48.6 / 1235 (coupe)
48.6 / 1235 (convertible)
Track (in / mm):
63 / 1600 (front)
61.7 / 1567 (rear)
Curb weight (lb / kg):
3524 / 1598 (coupe)
3582 / 1625 (convertible)
Weight distribution
(% front / rear):
50 / 50

And a link to the Z06 official website, which has more info and photos:
http://www.chevrolet.com/corvette-z06-supercar.html

To get you up to speed, the cars are just starting production, early ordered cars with manual transmissions should be heading down the assembly line in the next couple weeks if not before. Automatic cars and convertibles are still on "constraint" meaning you can't order them yet. The majority of dealers are selling at MSRP, so don't overpay more than you have to - do not pay a premium. There is a waiting list at pretty much all dealers, you do in, put down a deposit ($1000 seems to be the norm) and wait until your name comes up.
