Sorry I asked, actually not a newbie for your info. On my 4th corvette. Currently a 07 lingenfelder. Just got a lot going on and haven't had time to find the info. I won't bother you again.

Yes, the Z06 is going to be wider body, wider wheel base.

To get you up to speed, the cars are just starting production, early ordered cars with manual transmissions should be heading down the assembly line in the next couple weeks if not before. Automatic cars and convertibles are still on "constraint" meaning you can't order them yet. The majority of dealers are selling at MSRP, so don't overpay more than you have to - do not pay a premium. There is a waiting list at pretty much all dealers, you do in, put down a deposit ($1000 seems to be the norm) and wait until your name comes up.
