Default Code 3400 and Constraints

I'm sitting at 3400 right now (for 8 days) and wondered if I'm past the point of worrying about being constrained on an option.

Specifically, I am non-z07 but ordered CFZ. I know that's sitting at 20%.

At 3400 you should be past the constraints. Congrats on making it through.

Any effect that supplier issues might have had were felt before you went to 3400, for example in the transition from 3300 to 3400. Your configuration has been locked in since you got to 3000.

Constraints only affect the 1100-2000 transition. The are on the order acceptance side. Once an order is accepted, it doesn't matter.

Oh no. It may not matter to acceptance but it certainly does matter to production. The availability of constrained parts will affect orders past the acceptance stage in that it could affect the actual production schedule. So a constraint can affect how long it takes to get to 3400, for example.
