Chances of securing a MY2015 Z06
I am very interested in people's opinions regarding ordering/securing a ZO6 at this late time. Especially the senior members here who have experience.
For example: If I were to order tommorow, what are my chances, and any further prognostication(s) as far as possible delivery dates, would be appreciated.
I HAVE reviewed just about every thread on this subject.

he's right. I had 7 guys in front of me on my Z06. dealer said he might only get 1 maybe 2. but they all wanted the A8. I wanted the M7, so I was in! you could do the same, manual is more fun in my opinion anyway

You can get a Coupe with manual transmission by the end of the year if you call around. Dealers have them incoming. Convertibles and automatics will take longer to get. There is another ordering window coming up in December (4th - 12th) so you can order the car exactly as you want, though with the caveat that it'll take longer to get an automatic or a convertible.

"If you order tomorrow" is not the issue. It is when your dealer can order that is the issue. And that depends on whether you want an automatic or a manual, a coupe or a convertible, and what sort of ground effects. Answering thise questions will get you a more informed answer.

The A8 will be the challenge. They are yet to be released and MANY people are on waiting lists to get one.
If you really want one have an honest chat with some of the forum dealers. If they say no go, you will either have to wait, get really lucky, or pay a ransom in the form of additional dealer markup at a dealership who choices to do business that way.

There are M7 cars to be had. Several dealers had to buy for stock because they ran out of customers. I know of at least one M7 Z07 fully loaded that was in the first consensus and is unowned. PM me if you want the dealer's info. The car is loaded up with all the options include chrome wheels, 3lz interior and lots of other goodies. MSRP.

Just as many are happy with the start of the reviews, many are not and expected more - so in my opinion, your odds just improved as some will bail and get their deposits back.

You'll also find it bizarrely easy to drive around town. At low speeds, it's like a normal Corvette, with nimble steering and ample cargo capacity under that hatch. The powerband's sheer breadth means you can treat the manual like a three-speed. Dig into the infotainment system and you'll find adjustments for the exhaust volume, from full-on freeway-droning madness to near silence. It has cooled seats. Wi-Fi, even. The price makes this all the more bewildering, as you'd need to spend nearly $1 million elsewhere to reach the performance our Z06 offers at an as-tested $105,210.

See that's the difference between you and I - being that I was in the business and understand the car market , I know all too well the spread between dead, invoice and retail (msrp) costs. I would never, ever pay invoice on any car period. Enjoy the new ride, assuming you are getting one
