Default X or H Pipe?

Does the new Z06 come with an X or an H pipe?

Me too. But, I can't decide what system to go with. I've got Akra on my ZR1 which is awesome, but I've got my eye on the Borla ATAK system with prism tips. However, in doing some checking, Borla is never on time with developing their products, and I'm not willing to wait around forever.

What are you thinking about doing?

H-pipes are for trucks from 1995. X pipes are for sport cars.

Although all late model Corvettes came with H-pipes up until very recently of course.

Im just going to do the x. The exhaust should sound good with the fuse pulled stock. I think the x will just give it that little bit more..

Well, not all X-pipes are created equal of course. An aftermarket X-pipe might be of larger diameter or have smoother transitions at the 'X' (mandrel bends etc.) which can effect sound.
And in some cases, some owners may even go with a higher flow catalytic converter X-pipe/mid-pipe set up (though that's usually only in conjunction with long tube headers) that can also effect sound/performance.
