How do you order SS tires with the Z07 package without getting the sport cups?

OMG! With all the problems GM is facing with heat soak, restricted freeway race performance, wrinkled seats, orange peel, misaligned panels, etc., I hope you got a smokin' deal. Surely you must know that the Z07 is not meant to be driven on the street. It's simply faaaaar too harsh. I assume you have a trailer to move the car to and from the track.

I really think you will regret this decision. A Viper TA would've made a lot more sense. I guess sucker's are born every day...

I thought you have to take the cup tires with a Z07. You can buy the super sports and have the dealer change them when the car is delivered and sell the cup tires or keep them for the track. Is this correct?

You might want to check with your dealer. Sounds like they don't know what they are doing if they are telling you that you can get XFK (Standard Tires on Z06)

That's not a option that you can just order.

You might want to check to make sure they actually have allocation since they are already off the bat giving you incorrect info.

But there have been many posts about how even the GM engineer's wife couldn't handle the rough ride...
