Another beat down of a new Z?
What they heck is going on? A N/A Gen 4 is faster with only 583rwhp?
Maybe these guys can't drive a stick or something?
"Now" I am seriously rethinking about canceling my order for a 2015 Z. They must have left a lot on the table for this first year's run to see how the motors hold up and then they will up the power in 2016......Something has to be done though.
No way I am modding a $90K car for at least the first couple years, and I am not about to take all these a$$ kickings either though. So leaves me with little choice at this point.
My 2010 C6Z absolutely destroyed other lightly modified cars on the highway with just a cam, intake, catback and headers at 554RHWP.

Dude it has been posted. You are going to catch a ton of ****. The Z started in 3rd gear at 60mph and shifted at 5k. car has 200 miles on it.

Idk, but read the comments on YouTube.........the C7Z is getting a lot of heat, the early reputation is one of disappointment.
But, these are races against heavily modded cars which is unfair, people are lining up with their modded cars to get the C7Z at its weakest......my advice to C7Z owners, stop racing cars with more rwhp or mod it.

Oh, Jesus...I thought this was over. Anyway, I am the blue z owner. This wasn't a pissing contest day for me. Had it been, my wife would not have been in the car, the top would be on and I would start in 2nd and not shift at 5k rpm. If this video is discouraging you from buying the car, you're an idiot and probably just looking for a reason to not spend the money.
Mine just hit 500 miles today. OMG!!!

You know...as much grief as I got for this video, not one person pointed out the most obvious stuff. I had a passenger and the top off...you'd think all of the experts would have known if it were a serious "Who is faster run", wife would have been at home and top would be on. Even then, cars have the same power and I am about 300 pounds heavier. We are going to run again properly in the near future. I will be sure to have the PDR on so everyone can critique me for shifting 11 rpms shy of redline. Really though, it's a fantastic car. It's something that delivers "spirited" driving along with a smooth ride when you swap to touring mode.

So now what some random person who may never purchase a Camaro, lets not mention a top of the line Corvette has an opinion that matters? I can't speak for everyone but I could care less what the comments on youtube say about my purchase. I thought it was lame when cars were purchased to pickup women! Now people care what a nobody says on youtube?
