Default So no 'WOW' my ECU unlocked it's HorsePower thread yet??

so let's hear it - some of you must have reached 500, 1500 + miles by now (or whatever MR. GM rep told someone ) - tell us how much the ECU unlocked the horsepower level by.......

Does it feel 'loosened' up yet??

??

EDIT - I want to add - not meant to stir crap up - really am curious and hope BUT being honest, never believed any crap from a GM rep.

I'm not sure any of us actually believed that... but it would be great to have a dyno comparison... oh wait, someone on here already did that.

Oh man have you got it all wrong. LOL. The 06 was the fastest. Although the 08 did have the better suspension.

True, but I guess I meant as far as the bugs went... Fixed the roof issue, upgraded transmission, suspension, and some other small stuff

You got that right!

We have dyno hundreds of these STOCK C6Z's and it seems that the '06's and the '09's on average spit out the highest numbers

'07's and '08's are the softest...espcially '07's.

The '06's are the most crude and raw. As far as overall refinement in terms of ride quality, steering response and a few interior offerings, the '08's was better vs the 06's, but the '09's and later years kind of put it all together.

Not looking to start a freakin' war; I'm just telling it like how we have seen it over the past few years

Thanks,
Carlos

Mods please merge this thread with one of many "break in" threads available.

The original post should be just another post in an already existing thread.

Please....of course this thread is meant "to stir crap up"....the minute you use "BUT", it's all down hill from there.

It's like starting a thread: "I hate red Corvettes but if you like them....

FWIW, I have serious reservations about what this GM guy (who I have not heard of) said about the break in/ECM.

Ok, so you start a 'crap stirring' thread and then add a disclaimer that it's "not" a 'crap stirring' thread and THAT makes it all good? What's next, Iran bombing Israel but it still being 'ok' because they threw the "we're not actually bombing Israel" disclaimer in there?
