Have you thought about getting them powder coated or a dealer swap? It's out of state by Corvette Mikes in CA does this. You can probably send them the chromes for Blacks for a fee. A buddy of mine did this on his C6ZR1.

You don't want to try to powder coat over a chrome wheel.
Makes a VERY heavy wheel. I have the Machine face 2013 cups to put on. But all for naught the car had a phoney price on the web much like the C7 early on. Under MSRP was 10k over SO i'll wait. Under Msrp on the mn7 for sure by
March. IMO
