Shelby vs Z06 Question w/video
This is a video of my 2013 shelby gt500. Few bolt ons. By the speedo video and not being able to go full throttle in my z, do u think the z06 can stay up with the shelby 60-160mph???? Don't want to loose money on a bet, or my pride for that matter! Thanks for the input guys!

That car's moving. That said, holy slow shifts batman. You lost 1/2 second on the 2-3 and 3-4 shift after the wheelspin was resolved. There's a full second to be gained in shifting technique.

Yeah in the YouTube video description I stated baby shifting through the gears, it was a touch cold out and it's scary on the highway.

I came up with 2.5 sec so your estimate is almost what I got. Hmmm. My shelby has a axle back, intake, throttle body, and 93 octane tune.

Scraping the splitter.
A stock '13/'14 GT500 is capable of ~7.8 second 60-130 times (it'll touch the limiter in 3rd at just about exactly 130). Unless it has a decent tire on it, at WOT in 2nd in decent air it will spin unless you can get it on concrete. Well driven, a stock one will run mid-11's in the ~126 mph range. They can be pretty quick with a few bolt-ons and regularly make 660-680 rwhp.
IMO the light bolt-on GT500 will win with equal drivers as long as it doesn't blow off the tires through 2nd and into 3rd.

Scraping the splitter.
This is really an "Other Cars" topic, so with this...I am out.
