Due to an error in the ordering process my mirrors were not delivered in carbon. Before I get the car wrapped in pain protection I need to get the mirrors painted does anyone know how to remove them I've got the door panels off and I can't seem to find access to the mirrors. I removed the little rubber piece found two small holes but still no way to access the mirrors any thoughts?

Try the C7 General section...should be the same as the Stingray.

Does turning the mirror in expose any scews at the neck?

I thought you had to remove the mirror glass then turn the mirrors or remove the 8 inch speaker driver its been a while since I worked on one I know it was a pain in the A. This car is much tighter than any previous Corvette. IMHP since your car is NRB I am not sure the carbon mirrors will pop enough to notice a difference, but for each their own. You can always have them wrapped in vinyl film I am not sure about carbon I wish you luck.

Have you considered talking to your guy doing the clear film about doing them in carbon flash film?? He may have film that will match the carbon flash and then you don't have to paint. Just a thought. JD

Had to remove the speakers to get access to the 3 bolts. They're off to paint
