They will raise them, then 90 days later offer Credit Union/Supplier, etc. That way it's a wash for them. Same thing they did last year.

No it's just supply finally caught up with demand and it's it's no different than any other mass produced car at some point.

I'm not buying this $6k increase talk. That would be absolutely stupid. I hope this isn't info from a salesman.

Talk on the Z06 forum is that our Stingrays are due for a 2-3K price increase with the Z06's in January, 2015.

Actually, it is! As dumb an idea as it is, I can see GM doing it, afterall there's only 350 or so Z's for sale on autotrader!

Wash?

No, GM WINS. Invoice price goes up too, GM doesn't eat all the "discount" you get, the dealer does.

If they do that, there still will be plenty of low VIN M7 Z06's on the lots that you can get for supplier then. I might be game at that point.

I also don't buy this $6k increase, sounds like a dealers with these M7 Z06's that they can't sell hyping it up so they can move these cars.

For comparison, earlier this year when I was searching, a salesman told me the Stingrays were going up $7500 for 2015. Yeah, ok.

They are on there because the sellers want to make some money on them before the rush is over. Strike when the irons hot.

The Z06 is on the gm supplier list. Finding a dealer to take it will be the problem. I expect that soon we will see discounts on the M7.

Incorrect. The Z06 is excluded. Just checked. You can build one and see the discount, but the car is still excluded this time.

I assume these cars have significant discounts, as they are just sitting on the lot, and I'm sure the dealer wants to sell them before tax time?

None that have been reported, MSRP is the current "deal" price with most dealers putting market adjustent stickers on unsold Z06's. My local dealer had 2 with $20000 market adjustment stickers on both. They both sold, don't know for how much.

Yes. A number of dealers have offered to order an M7 for me for a little off. A couple have also offered a small discount on in-stock M7s. I have yet to find a large discount from a dealer with immediate allocation.
