Thanks Tim at Boardwalk Chevrolet for #159
Big thanks to Tim Boone of Boardwalk Chevrolet for #159, which I took home yesterday! Tim picked me & drove me to my new Z06 at Boardwalk, (since I was Corvetteless at the moment) in his supercharged Stingray, and gave me a little idea of what I could expect with my new Z06.
After crying about missing my 427, it did not take long for me to embrace this awesome Z06! Tim is quite a Corvette enthusiast/car guy but also just an all round great guy. Big thanks to Tim & the whole Boardwalk staff.
Here's some pics that Tim took for me!

KIngspoke, Congrats...awesome ZO6. Love the color combo. I'm still waiting for 1/19 when my DSOM 'vert will be built. The excitement builds! Enjoy

I have to agree, but seriously the DSOM has a lot of red, so it seems to go very well, as you state!

Thanks for all the congrats & compliments, all! This Vette is such a pleasure to drive & the throttle response is awesome when you ask and tame as a kitten when the going is slow (stop n go). I put a hundred miles in thus far, and it has been a blast!
It'll take me a year at least to figure out all the gadgetry though!

Thanks! I agree on Tim very honest guy and very much into performance. His Z51 Stingray has an A&A supercharger & puts around 627 rwhp & sucks you back in the seat when he mashes it! I knew then I was going to love the Z06, & I'm very happy I made the move (and I dearly loved my 427 with the LS7)!
