Yes, we were going to replace it, but I ordered the splash guards so they will end up replacing this piece anyway. No harm done. The moral of the story is, lifting these cars, people need to be very careful. Dealer busted my rocker panels on my C6 lifting it.

Plan missed in the picture that sucks.
Yep have to jack in the right spot. Feel the slotted hole.
I like the clip-on plastic jack pads. To my surprise ones for the C7
will clip on with a jack to tighten it. BMW ones for the C6 Z06.
First mod for me.

Will the C5/C6 ones work? http://www.zl1addons.com/index.php/p...corvette-c5-c6

Alternatively I had these for my Z/28: http://www.zl1addons.com/index.php/p...5th-gen-camaro with an adaptor for older jacks: http://www.zl1addons.com/index.php/p...stuff/mag-puck ... not sure if these are better or if they would work on the C7 frame.

If neither of these will do, does anyone have a link to the right puck?

Thanks.

The ones I have in my C7 are from Southern Car Parts, a forum vendor. They snap in and haven't had any problem with them coming out. Frames are the same so should work on a C7Z. I think most all the forum accessory vendors sell some type, I just preferred the snap-in type.

I bought the pucks in advance last month with anticipation to lower my A8 as soon as I take delivery.

Is that a hole in the plastic? That may be damage from an incorrectly placed wheel strap while being transported. There was another thread with similar damage at the rear wheel. Yours is an easy fix.
